Lisa Marie Presley was just nine years old when her father, Elvis Presley, passed away — but she was able to sense that it was coming, according to a new teaser for Oprah's interview with Riley Keough.

In the clip, Oprah is sitting down with Riley, and had asked about how her mother "sensed" that her father, Elvis, would pass away that very morning. Keough explained:

"I think this is the first time she's ever talked in detail about his death in the book. And she said goodnight to him, and I think she knew saying 'goodnight,' like she had some kind of a sense. I think she had a sense many times that he wasn't okay. She would tell me that sometimes she would find him in his bathroom looking kind of out if it or holding onto the railing to stand up straight. And she also wrote these letters when she was little that we have, kind of saying, 'I hope my daddy doesn't die.' So there was some kind of sense there."

Elvis Presley passed away on August 16, 1977 from cardiac arrest after being found unresponsive on the bathroom floor by his fiancé at the time, Ginger Alden.

Oprah's full interview with Riley, "An Oprah Special: The Presleys—Elvis, Lisa Marie, and Riley," will air on CBS on Tuesday, October 8th at 8pm ET.
