Wendy's unveiled its take on the iconic Krabby Patty burger from the Nickelodeon cartoon SpongeBob Squarepants on Wednesday (October 2).

The fast food chain officially announced its partnership with Nickelodeon and Paramount in a post shared on its X account for the limited release Krabby Patty Kollab set to hit restaurants on October 8. A photo of the meal was shared by Discussing Film's X account.

"First look at the Krabby Patty meal, including a real-life Krabby Patty. Coming to Wendy’s on October 8," Discussing Film wrote.

The Krabby Patty meal includes a Krabby Patty Kollab burger, which includes a "top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce," paired with a SpongeBob inspired Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty and a Hot & Crispy Medium Fry.

The potential partnership between Wendy's and Nickelodeon was initially reported after leaked company memo shared on Reddit in August.

"Starting October 8, get ready to deliver the magic of cultural phenomenon SpongeBob SquarePants! To celebrate the show's 25th anniversary this year, Wendy's® will introduce its own version of SpongeBob's iconic Krabby Patty as part of an exclusive Krabby Patty Kollab with Paramount," the apparent memo states. "This limited-time offering will be available in a meal for adult consumers and fans to experience across the U.S., Canada, and Guam."

"This is an exciting moment for Wendy's®, and we anticipate that both SQR consumers and SpongeBob fans will turn out in a big way for this limited-time experience," the memo added.
