Aretha Franklin’s Music Getting The Royal Philharmonic Treatment
Aretha Franklin is the latest artist to have her music reinterpreted by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
“A Brand New Me: Aretha Franklin & The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra,” dropping November 10th, will feature Aretha tracks from the late 60s and early 70s with new orchestrations. Tunes on the album are expected to include “A Natural Woman (You Make Me Feel),” “Think,” “Respect” and more.
Aretha is the third artist to have her songs interpreted by the Royal Philharmonic. Elvis Presley was the first, with his album released in October 2015, and Roy Orbison will be the next, with “A Love So Beautiful: Roy Orbison & The Royal Philharmonic” Orchestra, due out November 3rd.
