ELO To Release Picture Disc “Out of the Blue”

ELO To Release First Ever Picture Disc Of  “Out of the Blue”

ELO is celebrating the 40th anniversary of their classic album “Out of the Blue” in a very special way.

On September 29th, for the first-time-ever, a picture disc edition of the album will be released. The two-LP disc has been remastered from the album’s original master tapes, and those who purchase it will also get a digital download of the album.

“Out of the Blue” is probably best remembered as the first ELO album to include the band’s logo as a three-dimensional flying saucer/space station, which went on to become a key component of their live shows. It was also the first double album in UK chart history to land four Top 20 singles.
