We will be holding this years event on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Athens County Fairgrounds. All gates will open at 2:00 p.m., and the Pulls will begin at 7:00 p.m.Registration for the pullers will begin at 5:00 p.m. There will be multiple food vendors and once again we will have our event shirt vendor at the annual pull.
We began this event in 2018, in honor of our son, Noah. Noah was killed in a tragic tractor accident in May 2017. He was an avid member of the Hoof ‘N’ Hide 4-H Club and Federal Hocking FFA. He earned his State FFA degree in 2015 and his American Degree in 2017. For those of you who did not know Noah – he loved his family, cattle and truck & tractor pulls. You would see Noah quite often at the local truck and tractor pulls. He also loved showing his cattle with his family at the county fair, the Ohio State Fair, and in various show circuits as well as in other states. Noah was a fierce competitor, but had the kindest heart to give back to his family, friends, fellow 4-H members, and FFA members.
Noah loved truck and tractor pulls and attended as many as he could.Since this was one of his great loves, we plan to continue to honor Noah by having these annual Truck & Tractor Pulls.While the pulls was started to honor Noah, that is certainly not where the memories and honoring end. Those who were lucky enough to know Noah, were certainly blessed; and, to those who did not have a chance to know him, we hope you can get to know him by all the things that are being done in his memory.
