With all the doom-and-gloom reports about college graduates being buried by student loans, some high school students are weighing their options and not just automatically chasing a four-year degree.
One option they’ll have that’s brand new is something called a “NanoDegree.”
The online education company Udacity partnered up with AT&T to offer a program that’s designed to score a focused degree in a quarter of the time.
The new program gets you a technical degree in six to 12 months. The classes are online and offered at a faster pace. And because there are no giant brick buildings to maintain, it costs a fraction of a “normal” college.
